This is a perfect getaway from the city! The house is beautiful, very well decorated, and super comfortable. The river is just across the street and there are some cute spots in the town up the street. Would love to stay again. Thanks Karli!

Stuart’s place is a welcoming and modern space with all that you could need. Perfectly located to be just a short stroll down to the beach through such a peaceful neighbourhood. Would certainly recommend staying here!

The home was very spacious. We had a family of 7 and had lots of room for everyone to spread out.
Kitchen is well stocked, all areas were very clean, and the home was well decorated. We enjoyed our stay !

The cottage was beautiful and very private! My friends and I had a wonderful NYE weekend and felt that we had plenty of space. The kitchen was also fully stocked with appliances which made cooking for all of us quite easy!

The house itself was great. Beautiful views, enough room for us to spread out. However, the TV situation wasn’t conducive to watching any baseball/football games on network television. You need an app on the phone? Confusing for this senior. There were no instructions for the TV either. The bed linens and towels were worn out and in need of replacement, no potholders in the kitchen, and the glassware was lacking. These are easy fixes, just a small investment by owner. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time! Would go back again !

Truly could not have had a better experience. We stayed here for our wedding weekend and it was the perfect location. Close to our venue in Ghent, close to our guest hotels in downtown Hudson, made for beautiful pre-wedding photos and so much more. Great communication from our hosts and all around a wonderful experience. I cannot wait to stay here again. 💕💕

Thank you so much for our wonderful vacation! It was such a peaceful and beautiful spot. We loved sitting on the deck and looking out over the beautiful mountain views and changing leaf colors, and we enjoyed taking daily walks around the neighborhood. We saw so many different animals that we don’t see back home! We had everything we needed to cook dinners and relax in front of a cozy fire and ended every day with a dip in the hot tub. The beds were all so comfy and the house is so clean and had everything we could want! Thanks so much, we hope to visit again!

The Olive Pit is a great house. It’s located right near Copake Lake and a short drive to the local spots (restaurants, bars, marinas). The home is decorated really well and everything feels new. Everyone also mentioned how comfortable the beds, pillows and linens were.
There were a few hiccups early on in our stay but Red Cottage team was very responsive and proactive in fixing the issues. Definitely appreciate their quick moves.
10/10 would stay here again!

This house is stocked with everything you could need and has a cozy vibe. The scenery is the best part with floor to ceiling windows – I’d go back for any season.
